Cayman Islands Football Association

Ijon Neil

Ijon Neil's personal motto is that, "Hard work pays off." Currently a player for Future FC and the National Senior Football Team, Ijohn has been playing football ever since he can remember.

He stands 6 ft. 2" tall, is 17 years old and attends John Grey High School. He says he really started to play football seriously in Primary School, West Bay Primary to be exact. When asked why he loves football so much He responded saying, "…football can get you far in life, it makes you well rounded."

Apart from football, though, Ijon spends some of his time playing Cricket at the national level. He loves sports and uses it as a means to develop his discipline and shape his character. To wind down he listens to music or plays video games with his friends.

A hard worker and disciplined young man he says that he wants to become either an Accountant or a Mechanical Engineer, either way he will be doing something that he likes.
