THE GIRLS ARE BACK IN TOWN!!
Latinas have been revived and they're eager to play!
Many of you Latinas football fans may have been wondering when you would have the opportunity to cheer on your favourite team again.... well wonder no more, the wait is over!! The former Western Union ladies team along with some of the previous Latinas squad have joined together to re-form Latinas.
"Latinos FC is very proud to be able to bring out a Ladies team this season and have been very supportive in this venture. Although, the Club's previous attempt at retaining a female team was unsuccessful, we are more than confident that this new group of ladies will do us proud as they are a dedicated and hardworking team who are happy to be a part of the Latinos organisation" commented Latinos President Miguel Brown. "We are also pleased that they have retained Coach Morgon to continue preparing them for the upcoming season, commencing January 28 th " .
Latinas is also open to receive dedicated women who are interested in training for the squad. Training sessions are Tuesdays - Thursdays, 5:30 pm until dark at the George Hicks High School field in George Town.
