CIFA JAC Beach Football Fete this Weekend

Anticipation builds as Sunday June 12 th approaches, when the CIFA JAC Beach Football Fete, scheduled for the Royal Palms, will kick-off.
Twenty matches have been scheduled between 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. when ten teams will battle it out for Cayman's first ever beach football championship title. The semi final matches are expected to kick-off by 4:40 p.m. and the final at 5:30 p.m.
Teams expected to compete include Academy SC, Roma United, Tigers FC, Sunset FC, Brazil Community Team , Borstal Rovers , East End United, Scholars International, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Western Union FC.
The rules of the game will closely follow those outlined by FIFA apart from the awarding of blue cards for player offences. CIFA is still looking for volunteers to assist on Sunday. If you are interested call the CIFA office at 949-5775.
