By Kenisha Morgan

This past weekend the George Town Annex again came alive with competitive youth football action. Bodden Town Football Club and Scholars International were each crowned the 2005 U14 and U17 Youth FA Cup champions respectively.

George Town Sports Club and Bodden Town Football Club's under 14 teams, who have had an on going rivalry since the start of the season, put out their all in an effort to prove who was best.

George Town, who had just a few weeks earlier, taken the league championship fought with heart and spirit. In the end it was Bodden Town FC who won the match 4 goals to George Town's 2. The George Town contingent left the field, swearing amongst raised fists, that they would be merciless in the 2006 season.

The Under 17 players of Scholars International and Future FC put on a similar show. Both West Bay teams put on the pressure in the final moments of their game on Saturday but Future FC was out matched and outdone by the players in blue and Gold. Scholars International was once again crowned the victors, 2005 U17 FA Cup champions, after beating Future FC two goals to one.
