Cayman Prep vs. GTSC U14 match ends in 2 All Draw
by Kenisha Morgan
The Cayman Prep and High under 14 football team gave George
Town a run for their money yesterday at the Academy field behind
Triple C School. George Town, who currently tops the Under
14 league standings with 10 points, is closely followed by
Bodden Town in second place with nine and Prep in third place
with seven.
Both teams were eager to challenge the other and at the
end of the match none was the victor. A 2 all draw was the
final score. Though players for both teams seemed satisfied
to have deprived their competition of victory, the coaches
were agitated, shouting compelling instructions from the
side lines and encouraging their players.
Parents for both teams were out in their numbers and were
equally excited. They too got in on the action cheering their
boys on and adding to the shouts of “Get the ball,” and “stay
on top of him,” that the coaches were already hollering
from the side lines.
