A clash of the undefeated Sunday
BY Tendai Alleyne

The wrangle this weekend will be between two of the highest scoring squads so far into the season, Money Express and Roma, at the George Town Annex.

Both teams are bubbling at fourteen points from six games each and have suffered no defeats in the Foster’s National League, so these squads will be battling it out tooth and nail to maintain their unbeaten runs when the match kicks off Sunday at 3:30pm.

The points standing of these teams make this match the featured event of a weekend involving six games Saturday and Sunday at the Annex and East End.

Roma’s Technical Director Vincent Mitchell agrees that the game will be a tough one but is confident that as usual his boys will play the Roma game that is expected of them.

Being short of a few players is not going to affect Money Express’ performance, according to Manager Athelston Watts. His take on the match is that the unique technique and strong team spirit of the players will see them overcoming Roma.

Teams to watch this weekend are Tigers, a side of mostly young players searching for their place in the league, and East End which may be working its way up in the standings after a win last weekend.

This weekend’s fixtures:
• Future vs. FC International kicks off at 1:30pm at the Annex playing field Saturday 10 December.
• George Town vs. Bodden Town clash starts at 3:30 pm at the Annex Saturday 10 December.
