Football Student Athletes - Scholarship Opportunity


If you are a Student Athlete planning on attending college in the United States here’s an opportunity that might interest you.

Matt Baehr, Head Football Coach at the Oakland City University near Evansville, Indiana is looking for individuals like you to add to his school’s soccer program.

Baehr recently contacted the C.I. Football Association offering half scholarships to outstanding student athletes who wish to further their studies in the US.

He informed CIFA that his school offers Scholarships to International students athletes to the tune of USD$9,000. An amount he says will cover approximately three quarters of the college’s tuition, leaving a bill of USD$8,000 per annum to cover the remaining portion of tuition, books, boarding and miscellaneous fees.

Oakland City University is a NCAA Division II school that “offers quality education in a Christian atmosphere.” The school was founded in 1885 and offers graduate and postgraduate degrees in the arts, humanities and business subjects. As a school with religious ties diploma, certificate, baccalaureate and master degree programs are also offered in religious studies.

Their School of Arts and Sciences offers associate degree programs in General Studies and Computer Technology while bachelor degrees are offered with majors in Biology, English, Humanities, Mathematics, Music, Science, Social Science, and the Visual Arts. Minors are offered in Biology, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, English, History, Mathematics, Music and Visual Arts.
At the Oakland City School of Business associate degrees in accounting, business administration and business technology applications are offered, as well as baccalaureate degrees in business with concentrations in accounting, applied accounting, business technology applications, management, marketing, and office administration.
