Scholars International Under 17 2003-04 FA Cup Champions
Scholars International’s under 17 youth team walked away
the champions at the recent U17 FA Cup Championship match on
April 1st, 2004.
The match, played against fellow West Bay opponents Future
FC, ended 5/4 after a penalty shoot out competition in extra
time.
Scorers for Scholars were Abijah Rivers, Benjamin Cupid,
Chad Kaufman, Donovan Godet and Jario Sanchez. While Christian
Morais, John Kelly, Jared Yates and Michael Johnson Jr. scored
four goals for Future FC.
Thus far this season Scholars has taken home the Women’s
FA Cup title, DHL National League title and the U17 FA Cup
title.
The match was officiated by Winston Blackwood, Milton Sinclair
and Ernie Seymour at the T.E. McField “Annex”
Field in George Town.
Proud of their achievement, Scholars International’s
under 17 team and club officials pose for the camera. Scholars
won the Under 17 FA CUP title 5/4 on penalties.
