GTSC wins Foster’s National League 2003-‘04 Fair
Play Award
Congratulations on a job well done are in order for George Town
Sports Club, winners of the 2003-2004 Foster’s National
League Fair Play award.
Remarkably, after twenty-seven weeks and 14 matches George
Town Sports Club had only 20 yellow cards and no red cards
at all for the entire season, a total of 40 penalty points.
The remaining ten senior men's teams received at least 2 red
cards each.
Latinos FC on the other hand leads the season with a less
prestigious award and is way out in front having 43 yellow
and 3 red cards for a grand total of 101 points. FC International
is second with 21 yellow and 6 red cards, for 72 penalty points.
The fair play table is however, still not finalized and won’t
be until the final whistle on Sunday April 25th at the Annex.
Prior to that FCI is again scheduled to meet Scholars on April
17th at the Ed Bush field and Latinos North Side on April
18th at the Annex.
The fairplay table up to April 4th is as follows:
