Red Bay Primary conquered St. Ignatius Primary School U-11 team 5-0 on Saturday.

The game, which took place at St. Ignatius field, was hard fought despite the one-side scoreline. Catholic appeared to be playing a little tighter than in previous matches holding their opposition scoreless until the 15th minute.

Rhyme Robertson dribbled to the edge of the 18-yard box and released an unstoppable bullet that landed in the back of the net. Red Bay immediately went on the attack hoping to score another goal. But Catholic held the Red team to 1-0 going into the second half.

Red Bay was not to be contained any longer in the second stanza and began to fire the ball into the back of the net in waves. Christopher Bush stabbed home a goal in the opening minutes of the last half taking the score to 2-0.

In the 34th minute Red Bay's Alexander Ebanks took the goal tally up another notch with a powerful right foot blast that again saw the back of the next.

Jordan Thompson penalty kick was Red Bay's fourth goal and Ebanks scored the finally goal of the day taking the final tally to 5-0.

Catholic's U-9 squad held Red Bay to a 1-1 draw on the same day when Fabio Gall netted a goal in the final minutes of the game.
Raheem Robinson, who plays for both Red Bay's primary school teams deposited the ball into the goal the first half.
